Shoerail is plowed bottom rail of a balustrade system into which the bottom of wood balusters fit. Fillet is decorative wood strips used to fill the plow between balusters in plowed handrail and shoerail. L.J. Smith offers multiple styles and sizes of shoerail and fillet to accommodate our wood baluster designs. These products are available in 14 standard and custom wood species, and additional species can be quoted.
KEY FEATURES:
Random lengths typically between 3' and 6'. We will supply enough to match the lineal footage ordered.
Fillet is typically cut into approximately 3-1/2" to 3-7/8" pieces to go in between block balusters in either 1-1/4" plowed "PL1" Handrail or LJ-6045 Shoe Rail.
If shipping UPS Ground, fillet will be cut into strips 6' or less to allow shipping.
