Shipping & Taxes

We can ship to all 48 continental United States and most of Canada.   We make our money on product sales, not on trying to charge you more than our cost for shipping.  Please email or call for quote if a UPS Shipping option is not offered..  We do offer will-call pick up at our Southern California warehouse at no charge.  

 

Our warehouse is in Corona, CA (Riverside County) and most all of our shipments originate from there.  As such, we are obligated to collect CA sales tax for sales picked up or delivered in CA.  We do not add or collect any sales tax on shipments outside of CA.

 

Orders under 150 lbs with no items greater than 8' in length are typically shipped via UPS Ground. These orders ship directly to the delivery address provided on your order.  At checkout, a UPS Ground rate will be offered if your order qualifies.  

 

Larger orders are typically palletized and/or cartoned (for handrail and lineal items) and shipped via one of our preferred LTL (Less than Truckload) carriers.   These order are shipped one of three ways:  1) to a business address capable of receiving pallets off large trucks (with either a dock-high door or forklift), 2)  for residential address curbside delivery or 3) for will-call pick up at your local LTL freight terminal.  Call to discuss all LTL shipping options and for quotes.

 

Should any items appear damaged upon delivery or freight terminal pick up, please take a photo of the damaged shipping carton(s) and note such on any delivery receipt at time you are requested to sign.  After opening and inspecting packages, please take photos of any damaged or defective items.  Email all photos to info@stairpartsnow.com along with a description of items requiring replacement and we will file any freight claim or claim for defective product and quickly resend you replacement product at no cost to you.
