This is our 4-1/2" square newel post sanded on all 4 sides.  Ready to paint (poplar) or stain.

These are shipped with packaging to protect all four corners from damage.

We typically carry the 48” and 56” newels in stock in Poplar and Hard Maple.

Many folks use these as "Craftsman" style newels.
