This is our 3" square newel post sanded on all 4 sides. Ready to paint (poplar) or stain.
These are shipped with packaging to protect all four corners from damage.
We typically stock these 48” and 59” newels in Poplar, Red Oak, Heart Cherry, Hard Maple, White Oak and Alder wood species.
Many folks use these as "Craftsman" style newels. We sell metal caps separately - LJ-9017-3.0, (flat top metal cap), LJ-9018-3.0 (peak top metal cap) and we also sell a wood cap - LJ-9011.
